Eligibility and Admission for Services

 
For information about accessing any PCBS service, contact the Resource Services program at (816) 891-0990 or email info@pcbsdd.org. PCBS Resource Services are available to anyone with an intellectual and/or developmental disability who lives in Platte County, MO.

Individuals shall be considered for services without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, age, ancestry, or political affiliation. Discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity is not acceptable. PCBS promotes accessibility for all persons served. Admission will be based upon the individual needs of the applicant. If it is determined that services cannot be provided because of service limitations of the agency, or if the individual does not meet the agency’s admission criteria, a referral will be made to another, more appropriate resource.

For certain services, the state of Missouri’s Department of Mental Health (DMH) determines eligibility. For more information on how to contact the Kansas City Regional Office go to dmh.mo.gov/dd/facilities/kansascity.html.
