Partnership for Hope
PCBS is proud to participate as a funding partner in the Partnership for Hope (PfH) Medicaid Waiver program. The PfH waiver began in 2010 and has become a national model for providing needed community services and supports. It is jointly funded. For each dollar spent, approximately 18 cents comes from the Missouri state general revenue and 18 cents from Platte County funds, which leverage about 64 cents of federal funds.
The PfH waiver has dramatically reduced the waitlist for services across the state and in Platte County. Services provided through the PfH waiver vary from personal assistance to employment supports and more. This program is only available to those with Medicaid and authorization must come through the Kansas City Regional Office (KCRO). Those interested in accessing services through the PfH waiver should contact KCRO or their Support Coordinator at the Center for Human Services.
